Will Imran Khan be moved from Adiala Jail to a private hospital for treatment before 30 September 2026?

On 18 August 2026 the Supreme Court ordered that Imran Khan be shifted from Adiala Jail to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad within two days for medical treatment. The federal government has filed a review petition against that order, and the court is due to take the matter up again on 16 September. Khan has so far remained in Adiala while the review is pending. Resolves: 30 September 2026 •

A transfer to a government hospital, doctors visiting him inside Adiala Jail, an outpatient trip for tests that does not involve admission, and a court order that is still not carried out by 30 September all resolve NO. Release on bail followed by admission to a private hospital within the window counts as YES.
