Will Pakistan win at least one gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games?

Pakistan has traditionally had a narrow medal base at the Asian Games, historically drawing most of its medal hopes from a small number of sports such as hockey, squash, wrestling, athletics and shooting rather than a broad spread of events. Whether any of those squads convert a strong showing into an actual gold, rather than a lower-tier medal, varies significantly from games to games. Resolves: 5 October 2026 • Source: Official 2026 Asian Games medal table (Olympic Council of Asia) Rule: Resolves YES if Pakistan is credited with one or more gold medals in the official medal table published by the Olympic Council of Asia at the close of the 2026 Asian Games on 4 October 2026. Silver and bronze medals do not count, and medals reallocated later — for example after a doping disqualification — do not change the outcome. If the Games are cancelled or abandoned before the closing ceremony, the poll is voided and points are returned.
