Will Pakistan win the men's cricket gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games?

Cricket is on the programme at the 2026 Asian Games, which run from 19 September to 4 October, and Pakistan have named a men's squad including Sahibzada Farhan. India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are all expected to field sides, making it a genuinely open Twenty20 competition. Pakistan have not previously won the men's cricket gold at an Asian Games. Resolves: 4 October 2026 • Source: Official 2026 Asian Games medal table (Olympic Council of Asia) Rule: Resolves YES only if Pakistan is credited with the gold medal in men's cricket in the official 2026 Asian Games medal table published by the Olympic Council of Asia. A silver or bronze medal in men's cricket resolves NO, and so does a gold medal won by Pakistan's women's cricket team or in any other sport. If men's cricket is dropped from the programme, or the event is not completed by the close of the Games, the poll is voided and points are returned.
